The She Shed is SO cute and I can't wait to see her all dolled up with your candles! I love that E. Dickinson quote- always stops me in my tracks. The photos are all gorgeous- even Lady Boob. Most of all, I love anything that you are Savoring and I would LOVE to join in any capacity.
I’m in! I think this chapter of our life has a lot of potential!! Love the vision of building a community! Reminding each other of all that we can and are doing ❤️
I landed here on your Stack by way of my dear friend K. Alexandra and you kept me with this one snippet- “how-to-meditate-for-real-people who don’t speak guru session.“ I enjoyed every word you gave us, but that little piece made me laugh out loud and hooked me!
Any friend of hers is a friend of mine. I'm so grateful I could make you laugh this morning. I am sure I am an embarrassment to the meditation community but I do it anyway. Maybe even in spite of it. :)
I must say that I am having the time of my life right now and I'm 61. I don't feel dismissed nor overlooked by my community, during my travels, nor society. I'm still working at the County Library, the Rancho Branch and feel very well received while leading my storytimes, from my co workers, and patrons that come in throughout the day. I am always grateful for everything in. my life. Now that my 4 kids are grown and on their own, my husband and I have a chance for each other. I also have time for me now and I love it. Not sure if I would be right for your group, but I just wanted you to know that I think this is an amazing time in our lives and we should all see the world as an honor to be living in it and try to live each day as our last.
I completely agree with you Nora. I am also enjoying my life in a very special way these days. I love the time my husband and I have together. I love my career and my passions. I love giving back. And THAT is exactly why I wanted to create this community. I spent a lot of time online looking for a community of women and to say that most don't feel this way is an understatement. I want to spread what you and I have around like glitter to those who don't even know they can find joy, passion and happiness at this age. You are I are very fortunate. You would definitely be right for the community. Maybe you even need to do one of the positivity sermons for us. 🤎
I’m sorta where you are … I’m 60 w/4 “grown” kids though 2 still live w/us in our CA home and 1 w/us when we are at our Maine home … and my oldest seems so far away living in Seattle. I agree with you on not feeling invisible… I feel seen… But I’m craving more purpose now that my day-to-day responsibilities of raising my children are for certain radically changed. I am definitely still seeking and I love that you have found avenues of interest that meet that need for you… I keep thinking my time is coming. 💚
Your time is here Deann. Thank you for sharing this. This is one of the reasons I wanted to start this space. My hope is that it inspires passion, helps women find theirs and provides a community that supports them as they chase it.
I’m in - maybe I can teach a class for the community! Also FB groups are still controlled by their algorithm - have over 4400 in one of mine and sometimes 2% see a post. Don’t do it!
I am also a long time community researcher and builder who happens to also speak of it's utmost importance going forward - I can say - that whilst a little on the financial side circle has so much to offer when it comes to building out communities and all the little extra pieces on offer - I am in if you have room
I have been digging into so many and Circles seems to be the right fit if that is the route I go. I have added you to the list. Thank you for joining us!

I would love to have you in any capacity. Lady Boob made me laugh. Every piece of art at this hotel feature a giant set of tatas.

You are OF COURSE in! Exactly my thoughts. Alone it's easy to forget how significant we are. With a community to remind us, we are unstoppable. 🤎
