As Easter nears (and today in particular), I have been thinking a lot about heaven...about the incredible people I have known that did not believe in organized religion. I certainly don't have all the answers, yet I have a hard time imagining kindness is not rewarded in the end.
How not surprised are we that my views on religion are exactly the same? (I'm actually working on a piece about it that I'm tentatively calling Losing My Religion (But Can You Lose Something You Never Had?). Also have both Christian/Catholic and Jewish family background. Can't remember if I offered to help with your community project, but I'm in if you need me.
This was the first stack I read this morning after my writing time. Super appropriate as I was writing about Genghis Khan. His empire mandated religious freedom and acceptance for all and that was a thousand years ago.
And thanks for the paint by numbers rec, just grabbed that for my daughter. We’re always looking for ways to get her off her phone.
Hope you're sharing that. Would love to read more. I am loving the paint by numbers. I love that anyone can walk by and pick up a brush and start painting. It's not how it turns out, but the process of doing it. Have a great week!
I love the Easter season. I love this Holy Week as it feels like a big reset as we ponder what pure Christianity really is and like you said - all are welcome here <3
Being a good human is what we all should strive for. Believe what you want but be a good person to everyone!!!
Amen sister. Happy Easter!

Not even a little. You are on the list friend!
Love vests. Shoulders are free for writing. Love that green one, good snag.
Haha! Yep.

The “all are welcome here” religion is what we need far more of. Love the idea of a reset. Love the idea of love. Happy Easter!
